The Proud Bird in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare meals to recipe standards in a fast-paced environment, maintaining safety and cleanliness while collaborating with the kitchen staff for smooth service.

We value teamwork and flexibility, with opportunities for growth and advancement. The role requires weekend and holiday availability and a valid Food Handler’s Card to ensure top-notch health and safety practices across all shifts.

Formación

• 2 years previous experience as a line cook.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Must have a food handlers card.

Responsabilidades

• Work alongside the kitchen team to prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, up to par with Health Department standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented in an attractive and appetizing manner.
• Assist with the preparation of ingredients and food items for future meals.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the kitchen management.
