True Food Kitchen in Pasadena is seeking a Line Cook to join a fast-paced kitchen. You’ll prep, cook, and plate across stations like Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Sauté, or Grill. A strong focus on portioning, quality, and presentation is essential.

We value teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a high-volume setting. Physically demanding tasks and lifting up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months in a high-volume restaurant (preferred).
• Exceptional knife skills and recipe execution.
• Passion for great food and quality presentation.
• Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Teamwork, speed, and organization under pressure.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Prepare starters, entrées, pizzas, and more across stations (Pantry, Pastry, Pizza, Wok, Sauté, Grill).
• Follow portions, recipes, and quality standards.
• Keep station clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist with prep, opening/closing, and smooth operations.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills and other kitchen equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
