Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Raleigh, NC is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our Back of House team. You’ll help ensure quality, timing, and teamwork drive every plate from our kitchen.

In a fast-paced, guest‑focused environment, you’ll contribute to training, safety standards, and consistent presentation while growing your culinary skills and advancing with our expanding brand.

Qualifications

• Basic kitchen safety and sanitation knowledge required.
• Able to perform simple math calculations.
• Able to stand for 8+ hours per shift.
• Able to bend, kneel, and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Guest-oriented mindset and patience.
• Maintain positive relationships with team members.
• Commitment to cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Reliable transportation required.
• BOH positions require 18+.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station throughout service.
• Read and execute tickets accurately while meeting timing standards.
• Plate dishes with consistency and presentation.
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety standards.
• Properly label, store, and rotate all food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support teammates and communicate effectively during service.
• Complete closing and cleaning checklists as assigned.
