Job summary

Bond Brothers Kitchen & Bar, located within the RDU Airport, is seeking a skilled line cook to join the team. You will prepare and cook dishes per recipes while maintaining kitchen organization and cleanliness, in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have experience as a line cook, strong cooking techniques, and the ability to manage time effectively. This role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, with flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, methods, and equipment.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation techniques.
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Use knives, kitchen equipment, and tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure that all dishes are cooked to perfection and served in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including food storage areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
• Communicate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
