Job summary

The Burleigh at Kennebunkport Inn is seeking a Line Cook to join our small, close-knit culinary team! You’ll prepare components of each dish using proven recipes and work with a team to ensure timely service.

We value reliability, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen. Minimum two years in a culinary role and physical stamina are required; wage is $22.25–$26 per hour with benefits through EOS Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years working in a culinary position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas, and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards.
• Memorize and utilize serving portion sizes and basic meal prep procedures.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate out old products based on a schedule.
• Work with a team of cooks to do portion prep for other shifts when needed.
• Prepare basic components of each dish using proven recipes.
• Demonstrates strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
• Follows the direction of the chef de cuisine in preparing for service.
