Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group, the largest franchisee of Outback Steakhouse, is seeking a Cook in Flagstaff, AZ. You will passionately prepare, portion, and cook food items to quality specifications, while upholding safety and sanitation standards throughout the shift.

You’ll contribute to a positive dining experience by working across kitchen stations, supporting teamwork, and following proper safety equipment and recipe directions.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs; work in hot and cold environments.
• Walk, stand, or bend for long periods while performing duties.
• Vision abilities for distance, near, color, depth and peripheral focus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook food items to Outback’s quality specifications.
• Support diverse kitchen stations (Salad, Fry, Dessert, Sauté, Grill, Make Up) and kitchen prep.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and organization; uphold safety and sanitation standards.
• Work as part of a team to meet preparation and delivery standards.
• Follow safe food handling practices and use proper safety equipment and recipe specs.
