Job summary

BBQ Holdings, Inc. in Chicago seeks a kitchen team member to produce and maintain high-quality menu items at your station according to company recipes and specifications. You will ensure safety, sanitation and food standards are met in line with recipes, procedures, quality and timeliness.

You will work with a team to maintain timeliness, accuracy, and cleanliness while following safety guidelines. The role supports multiple shifts, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced kitchen

Qualifications

• 2 years of related experience preferred
• Flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Station ready on time and in proper uniform
• Maintain brisk, steady pace; stay organized with no unnecessary steps
• Adhere to recipes with 100% accuracy when prepping or assisting
• Portion accurately using scales and measuring tools; check portions
• Keep kitchen and equipment clean; practice 'clean as you go'
• Productivity tracked by quality and quantity within time
• Strong organizational skills
• Forecast needs and stock supplies ahead of rush
