The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is seeking a line cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team in a high-volume environment. You will prepare diverse menu items from scratch, follow recipes precisely, and maintain high standards of plating and food safety.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking experience in a full-service restaurant is ideal.
• Station experience (e.g., Flat Top, Grill, Broil, Fry, Pasta, Sauté, Salad, Pizza, Pantry, Appetizer, Oven or Prep) is preferred.
• Familiarity with cooking techniques such as roasting, grilling, sautéing, or scratch cooking is a plus.
• Proficient with kitchen tools and equipment and an understanding of back-of-house operations.
• Ability to deliver accurate orders with consistency; knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare recipes efficiently using various cooking methods and culinary techniques.
• Read and follow recipes with accurate measurements and weights for consistent execution.
• Demonstrate strong knife skills including chopping, dicing, and slicing.
• Ensure order accuracy through mise en place, portioning, and cooking to correct temperatures.
• Plate dishes with appealing presentation and garnishing.
• Support opening and closing duties, station setup, FIFO stocking, cleanliness, and organization.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards and manage cross-contamination risks.
• Work well under pressure, multitask with speed and urgency; communicate clearly with the team.
