The Lightwell Hotel and Spa in Hood River, OR is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, maintain a clean station, and uphold food safety standards to deliver high-quality plates.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Cook items using various methods such as grilling, frying, and following standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
• Prepare and organize ingredients and supplies for the station before and during service.
• Keep the cooking area clean, sanitize surfaces and equipment, and adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Perform inventory checks, complete storage logs, and report any stock needs.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
