Job summary

InterContinental New Orleans is seeking a Line Cook to deliver high-quality dining experiences for à la carte, buffets, and banquets. You will prep stations, manage lunch service, and ensure all dishes meet presentation standards while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The role requires reliable kitchen experience, adherence to food safety, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Strong cooking skills and ability to follow recipes and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Open the kitchen each morning by organizing the station for service.
• Prepare lunch items including sauces, soups and buffet entrées.
• Cook orders as received from waitstaff with accuracy and speed.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area in compliance with health regulations.
• Learn menus, recipes, and presentation standards and assist other kitchen stations as needed.
