Job summary

Caesars Entertainment Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf is seeking a Line Cook. You will prepare menu items at your station and operate grill, fryer, broiler, oven and other kitchen equipment per leadership requirements.

Maintain sanitary, organized work areas, ensure ingredient supplies, and follow Serv-Safe sanitation standards while delivering family-style service. Flexibility with nights, weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items and items assigned to the station.
• Operate grill, fryer, broiler, oven and other kitchen equipment.
• Complete preliminary preparation work in a timely manner.
• Maintain appropriate ingredient supply levels for shift volume.
• Move items from shelves to carts for restocking.
• Maintain par levels of food items at assigned station.
• Keep a sanitary and organized work area, clean and debris-free.
• Care for, store, use and clean all tools and equipment properly.
• Follow zoning procedures and return/store product and equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge on perishable handling to preserve quality.
• Prepare products according to standard recipes and follow leadership training.
• Communicate effectively with team and follow service standards.
• Acknowledge leadership instructions professionally.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of deep fryers, walk-ins, hoods, floors, and equipment.
• Meet or exceed state sanitation requirements (Serv-Safe).
• Support safety and accident prevention programs.
• Follow garbage separation and disposal standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
