Job summary

Salt + Smoke in St. Louis is seeking a motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team and help deliver great BBQ experiences for guests in a high-energy setting.

You will follow recipes, maintain quality and cleanliness, and work closely with front-of-house and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during dinners and events. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Previous kitchen experience preferred; ability to work standing for long shifts and lift up to 80 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of cooking or kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to recipe cards and standards.
• Manage food prep and line setup to ensure smooth service.
• Rotate stock, check temperatures, and maintain sanitation.
• Assist in controlling food costs and minimizing waste.
