Job summary

Corner Burger is seeking a reliable line cook to join our fast-casual kitchen. You will prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, build cards, portion standards, and presentation requirements, ensuring consistency during high-volume service.

Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and other commercial equipment safely; maintain proper temperatures and food quality. Follow food-safety rules, rotate stock using FIFO, keep a clean workstation, and collaborate with Front of House for smooth service,

Qualifications

Previous fast-casual, quick-service, restaurant kitchen, or line-cook experience.
General cooking and food-preparation skills.
Familiarity with commercial grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
Ability to follow recipes, build cards, portion standards, and instructions consistently.

Responsibilities

Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely and properly.
Maintain proper cooking temperatures and food-quality standards.
Follow food-safety, sanitation, and personal-hygiene requirements.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation throughout the shift.
Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
