Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group, a family-owned restaurant group operating Carlos O’Kelly’s, is seeking a Line Cook to join the Kitchen Team. You will handle assigned prep work and cook’s station while maintaining high standards for presentation, quality, and timing.

You will learn recipes and work across kitchen departments, cross-trained to support the team. This position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and consistent food quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to handle food prep equipment responsibly and safely.
• Reads, writes and communicates effectively in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Must be mobile and able to stand and move throughout shift.
• Ability to lift and move items as required by kitchen tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Carlos O’Kelly’s recipes and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up workstation according to station diagram.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
