Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts, owner of the DoubleTree Warren Place in Tulsa, is seeking a Line Cook to prepare food to Crescent standards and maintain a safe, sanitary kitchen. This role requires flexibility with early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays to support restaurant and hotel dining operations.

You will follow recipes, monitor portions, rotate perishables, assist in cost controls, and operate a range of kitchen equipment.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly in English.
• Team-oriented with a willingness to help others.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Experience handling and preparing food in a kitchen setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start prepped items and manage production to avoid over- or under- preparation.
• Rotate and date perishables; keep temperatures correct.
• Check pars for shift use and assist in keeping buffet stocked.
• Return unused items to storage with proper labeling.
• Assist in controlling food costs and reducing waste.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment (fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, etc.).
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
