Job summary

The Turning Point LLC is a daytime-focused breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant actively seeking energetic individuals to join our growing team.

We feature nighttime money while our restaurants close daily at 3pm and offer a comprehensive training program for English and Spanish speakers to ease onboarding.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speakers encouraged.
• Skilled with cookware needed for the position.
• Able to lift or move heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Proper food handling and storage.
• Prepare and portion food prior to cooking.
• Cook food accurately and efficiently.
• Follow recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and safety.
• Learn and work across all kitchen areas: cooking stations, prep, and dishwashing.
• Managers will not ask you to do what they would not do themselves.

We have over 30 corporate locations throughout NJ, PA, DE, VA, and FL with many more on the way. We also have franchised locations that have additional opportunities for training and support roles.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Proper food handling and storage
• Preparing and portioning food products prior to cooking
• Accurately and efficiently cooking food
• Ability to read in English OR Español and following all recipes, portions, guidelines, sanitation, and basic safety to produce food according to the Turning Point and Health Department guidelines
• We have many positions in our kitchens. You will be expected to learn and work in all areas. This includes the three cooking stations, food prep and dishwashing positions
• Our managers will never ask you to do something they would not do themselves

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required
• Skilled with the use of cookware needed for the position
• Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
• Ability to work with high temperature equipment and in a high heat facility
