Job summary

Local Favorite Restaurants is seeking a Kitchen Team Member in Irving, TX to cook and assemble dishes to brand standards. You will operate broilers, ovens, grills, and other equipment, stock stations, and ensure safe handling and presentation of meals for guests.

You will work as part of a team, maintain cleanliness, follow recipes, assist during peak periods, and help close the kitchen per the closing checklist while upholding safety and quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• Certified Food Handler in the applicable state.
• Ability to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environments.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Capable of safely lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.
• Minimum age 17.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables using brand kitchen equipment per recipes.
• Stock and maintain line station to ensure smooth service.
• Portion food according to standard sizes.
• Keep a clean and sanitary workstation.
• Ensure proper plate presentation and garnish.
• Rotate and label all products safely.
• Assist in food prep during peak times.
• Assist in closing duties and kitchen cleanup.
• Maintain safety and comply with local, state, and federal laws.
• Report unsafe conditions to management.
• Ensure all dishes and equipment are clean and organized.
• Be a team player; support FRG Brands.
• Assist in restaurant cleanliness and upkeep.
