Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cook to prepare and cook a variety of dishes for guests in a fast-paced restaurant. You will contribute to an enjoyable dining experience with quality food and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have prior cook experience and ServeSafe or Food Handler certification (or willingness to obtain). The role requires lifting 30+ lbs and standing for extended periods, with opportunities for advancement and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler certification (or willingness to attain).
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs and stand for 8+ hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas, equipment, and work surfaces to ensure safe and sanitary practices.
• Ensure freshness by checking quality, rotating stock, and tracking items.
• Ensure proper storage and cooking temperatures across ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Season and cook foods according to recipes or judgment.
• Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism.
