Job summary

Lime Fresh Mexican Grill in Miami is seeking an experienced Prep Cook to prepare and cook a variety of dishes for guests. You will manage multiple prep projects with attention to detail and maintain organized walk-in areas. Certification in ServeSafe or Food Handlers is preferred or must be willing to attain it.

You will contribute to a friendly, productive team, ensure waste tracking, and communicate effectively with managers and staff to uphold high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Previous prep cook experience preferred.
• ServeSafe or Food Handlers certification (or willingness to attain).
• Attention to detail and punctual performance.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs and stand for 8+ hours.
• Effective communication with team and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean prep areas and equipment to ensure sanitary practices.
• Ensure freshness through rotation and labeling of products in the walk-in.
• Taste, season, and adjust prep to meet quality standards.
• Respond to guest feedback with urgency and professionalism.
• Communicate with the incoming shift about required prep items.
