Job summary

Pinehurst, LLC is seeking a line cook to support our culinary team in a busy resort setting. You will follow recipes and directions from the Resort Executive Chef, maintaining Pinehurst’s high standards for taste and presentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience; physical readiness to handle kitchen duties and assist in various stations will be expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related kitchen or cooking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production of food in a timely manner.
• Prepare food so that quality, taste and appearance meet Pinehurst standards.
• Maintain proper use and rotation of food.
• Keep buffet and plated foods aligned with Pinehurst quality standards.
• Report any food quality issues to the Chef or supervisor.
• Maintain clean and sanitized workstations and storage areas.
• Assist other departments as needed.
