Qualifications

• 2 years of restaurant/culinary experience in a high-volume, full-service setting.
• Strong time management and organizational skills for high-quality food production.
• Ability to work with minimal direction to complete tasks.
• Food Handler Certification, if applicable.
• Knife skills and basic kitchen equipment knowledge.
• Able to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Positive rapport with a variety of personalities.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to guests in a timely manner.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food at line stations to ensure smooth service.
• Item specifications, including preparation, execution, and presentation will be provided to you.
• Know and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules.
• Prevent spoilage and contamination by sanitation practices and health regulations.
• Maintain a clean workstation and equipment across the kitchen area.
• Assist in daily cleaning of pantry, cooking line, prep kitchen, and dish area.
• Report maintenance or repairs needed to the Executive Chef.
• Follow departmental policies and restaurant rules as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
