Job summary

EOS Hospitality in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and cook menu items while maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen and supporting daily kitchen operations.

You will work with the Restaurant Manager to set daily specials, ensure item availability, restock as needed, and perform opening/closing duties. Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation and presentation and a professional appearance are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food ordered by restaurant customers using a variety of kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, meat slicers, food processors, etc.).
• Perform shift opening and closing duties, including starting equipment and cleaning refrigeration units, grill and surrounding area.
• Maintain kitchen and cooking areas, ensure equipment and storage areas are clean and sanitary per Health Dept rules; report issues to manager.
• Restock products as needed throughout shift.
• Collaborate with Restaurant Manager to determine daily specials, new menu items, and innovative ways to cook and prepare food.
• Regularly check menu cycle to ensure all items are available in advance; notify manager of shortages.
• Other duties as assigned.
