Job summary

Estancia Del Norte is seeking a Cook / Line Cook to prepare and present high-quality meals in a timely manner, following recipes and food safety standards. You will collaborate with kitchen staff to keep stations stocked and clean, and deliver consistent dishes that meet guest expectations.

The role requires preparing foods using broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers, ensuring portions and presentation meet standards.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree a plus; similar schooling experience with or without degree/certification acceptable.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
• Current TABC (TX) or RVSP (LA) is required; Current Food Handlers or ServSafe certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares a variety of food items using broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Maintains quality of food served and adheres to recipes and standards.
• Keeps work stations clean and sanitary; handles and rotates products properly.
• Stocks line stations and communicates inventory needs to management.
• Assists in food prep during off-peak periods and supports kitchen operations.

Education
