Job summary

Trek is seeking a cafe/kitchen staff member to assist with opening, meal prep, and service across breakfast and lunch shifts. You will work across multiple stations, keep the area clean, and help ensure quality and safety. A Wisconsin Food Handler License and a valid driver license are preferred, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills: ability to work with diverse teams and maintain confidentiality.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing; read and follow basic instructions.
• Basic math for monetary transactions and measurements.
• Ability to understand and apply written or oral instructions.
• General computer knowledge is helpful in ordering and records.
• Must communicate clearly and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in opening the cafe with other line cooks and prep areas.
• Breakfast set-up, brew coffee, dishes, and daily pre-made food.
• Prepare deli sandwiches for grab‑n‑go with a variety of breads and fillings.
• Prep daily pars and BOH prep; stock and rotate products.
• Serve customers across stations (breakfast and lunch) in a timely manner.
• Breakdown, clean, and close the line; assist with catering orders as needed.
