Job summary

MGM Resorts International is hiring a Cook for Jia, its four-diamond Asian Fusion restaurant at Beau Rivage in Biloxi, MS. You will cook at a high-volume, high-standard station, following recipes and standards to bring the menu to life.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, gaining experience across fry, sauté, grill, and other stations with a focus on seafood handling and fine dining techniques.

Qualifications

• Meets the minimum age requirement of 18+ years.
• 2+ years of culinary experience in a line cook setting (preferably).
• Experience on fry, sauté, grill, and other kitchen stations.

Responsibilities

• Show your culinary passion by crafting menu items while following set recipes and standards.
• Maintain stocking, cleanliness, and sanitation of back-of-house areas.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
• Demonstrate knowledge of fine dining culinary techniques.
• Practice seafood handling and shucking oysters as needed.
