Job summary

URBN is seeking a disciplined Line Cook to join Shop 543, a premier kitchen with diverse lunch stations overlooking the Delaware River. The role emphasizes high standards, daily discipline, and a Monday–Friday AM shift for work-life balance without sacrificing rigor.

You will manage multiple stations, ensure quality and portion control, and collaborate with Front-of-House and Back-of-House teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience in a scratch-kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a high-volume, scratch-kitchen environment.
• Advanced knife skills and diverse cooking techniques.
• Ability to stay composed and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable with punctual attendance and professional conduct.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a diverse menu of meats, seafood, and seasonal produce to exact specifications.
• Master multiple stations—Sauté, Grill, and Oven—with cross-functional support to Salad, Pastry, and Prep teams as needed.
• Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation during high-volume service.
• Maintain organized, sanitized stations and adhere to FIFO and temperature logs.
• Foster clear, professional communication with Front-of-House and Back-of-House staff to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
