Job summary

Starbird Chicken is seeking team members for kitchen roles in a fast-paced environment. You will fry chicken, prepare salads and sandwiches, and plate items following Starbird guidelines.

Candidates should have kitchen experience; lifting up to 30 lbs; and flexibility for mornings, evenings, and weekends. This tipped position offers growth opportunities and catering to a culture of coaching and learning.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Fry chicken, make salads and sandwiches according to Starbird guidelines.
• Food preparation and plating of prepared foods.
• Assist with stocking and setting up kitchen stations.
• Track multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow safety standards.

• Must also be able to tolerate temperature changes in kitchen and refrigerated areas
• Evening and morning shifts available; weekend shifts are a must
