Job summary

Starbird Chicken in Los Angeles is hiring crew members for a fast-paced kitchen role. You will fry chicken, assemble salads and sandwiches, plate foods, and help stock stations.

Evening and morning shifts are available; weekend shifts are a must. This is a tipped position with meal benefits and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Evening and weekend shifts required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Fry chicken, prepare salads and sandwiches.

• Stock and set up kitchen stations.

Essentials of the job:

• Kitchen experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Frying chicken, making salads and sandwiches

• Plating prepared foods using Starbird guidelines
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, reach, lift, grasp for extended periods of time. Must have sufficient mobility to move and operate in confined work area.
• Must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs; place items on high and low shelves in office, store rooms, service areas and walk-in coolers.
• Must also be able to tolerate temperature changes in kitchen and refrigerated areas.
• Evening and morning shifts available. Weekend shifts are a must.
