Job summary

Omni La Mansion del Rio in Downtown San Antonio is seeking a Line Cook 3 to prepare menu items promptly and accurately, collaborating with the kitchen team to uphold our standards of service.

We require at least 2 years of culinary experience in a hotel/restaurant, strong communication, and teamwork. A culinary degree is preferred, with opportunities for growth within Omni Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years culinary experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and manage weights and measures.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
• Culinary degree and/or formal training strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently prepare all food items as directed by supervisor and to company specifications.
• Demonstrate knowledge of culinary fundamentals and techniques.
• Work on an outlet hot/cold line to execute menu items on time.
• Stay organized with prep sheets and station guides to ensure service readiness.
• Use culinary equipment safely and correctly and ensure proper plate presentations.
