Job summary

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa is seeking a Cook-2 to join our full-time culinary team. You will prepare thoughtful, high-quality meals aligned with our wellness-focused brand, following recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef.

This role requires attention to detail, reliable communication, and a passion for great food. Under the direction of the Executive Chef, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen, grow your skills, and contribute to memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Qualifications

• Refined verbal communication skills.
• 2 years of previous line experience preferred.
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift, push and carry moderate to heavy amounts of weight on a consistent basis.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide flawless culinary service as directed by the Chef.
• Maintain quality and presentation per recipes and standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
