Qualifications

• Basic math skills and understanding of weights and measures.
• Follow recipes and maintain food safety standards (unexpired Food Handlers certificate on hire).
• Culinary degree or formal training strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently prepare all food items as directed by supervisor and specs.
• Apply culinary fundamentals and techniques.
• Work on outlet hot/cold line within timeline for each meal period.
• Stay organized with prep sheets and station guides and manage your own timeline.
• Use culinary equipment safely and properly.
• Plate presentations meeting specifications.
• Communicate with team members.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude under pressure.
• Attend monthly department meetings and trainings.
• Complete duties as assigned by management.
• Ability to work a restaurant Line.
• Basic knowledge of knife skills and vegetable cuts.
