Job summary

The City Square Steakhouse in Wooster, OH is seeking a Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring culinary training, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing to delivering exceptional plates to our guests.

Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $19.00 per hour with a schedule of 3–10 p.m., 4–5 days per week. We value growth, dining discounts, health benefits, and a respectful, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining knowledge of menu items to ensure every build meets specs and expectations.
• Preparing and cooking menu items during service, while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
• Understanding and adherence to food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front of house staff to ensure timely and seamless delivery of orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
