Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Cook to join a health-minded team in a fast-paced environment. You will prepare menu items according to recipes while upholding food safety standards and timely service.

In this role, you will support the Bistro and LifeCafe operations, ensuring cleanliness, proper stock, and safe food handling while collaborating with teammates to deliver high-quality meals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs repeatedly.
• Experience in restaurant settings with fast casual or full-service environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to daily Bistro needs: stocking supplies, cleanliness, kitchen safety.
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including cleaning equipment and dishes.
• Manages flow of food production with sandwich and salad stations.
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency and quality of ingredients.

Position Summary

The Restaurant Cook works alongside health-minded teammates in a fun and fast-paced environment proudly serving our members industry-leading healthy food options. They produce menu items according to recipes in a timely manner and following food safety guidelines.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including, but not limited to, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of kitchen
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes
• Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
• ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service experience
• Experience prepping recipes
