Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Las Vegas is seeking a Restaurant Cook to work alongside health-minded teammates in a fast-paced, community-focused cafe. You will prepare menu items according to recipes, maintain kitchen safety, and help keep the LifeCafe clean and stocked.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift over 20 lbs, and certifications in ServSafe and CPR/AED within stated timeframes. Prior restaurant experience is preferred, especially in fast casual settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire.
• Experience in restaurant environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock supplies and maintain cleanliness of the Bistro, ensuring food safety and safety of kitchen operations.
• Maintain LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, equipment cleaning and dishwashing.
• Manage flow of food production with sandwich and salad stations to ensure timely service.
• Follow recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients.

The Restaurant Cook works alongside health-minded teammates in a fun and fast-paced environment proudly serving our members industry-leading healthy food options. They produce menu items according to recipes in a timely manner and following food safety guidelines.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including, but not limited to, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of kitchen


• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes


• Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations


• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED


• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.


• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time


• ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire


• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service experience

Experience prepping recipes
