Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Restaurant Cook to work with health-minded teammates in a fast-paced environment, producing menu items from recipes while maintaining strict food safety standards.

You will stock, clean, and assist with the flow of food production across sandwich and salad stations, ensuring consistency and quality. ServSafe and CPR/AED certifications are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire.
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of kitchen.
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes.
• Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations.
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including, but not limited to, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of kitchen
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes
• Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
• ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service experience
• Experience prepping recipes
