Job summary

SSP America in Tampa, FL is seeking skilled Line Cooks to join our team at multiple airport locations. We offer great pay of $15.00 per hour plus shared tips for both full-time and part-time roles. On-Demand Pay via the Fuego app lets you access up to 50% of earned wages before payday.

As a Line Cook, you will follow recipes, maintain station setup, stock ingredients, rotate products, and ensure proper handling of perishables and equipment maintenance to deliver quality dishes.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a food service environment.
• Food handlers permit, as required by law.
• Brand Certification, as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
• Maintain proper and adequate setup of the kitchen/station on a daily basis.
• Requisitioning and stocking of all required food, paper products, and condiments.
• Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
• Set up, perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of machinery and equipment.
• Maintain stock, cutting, and storage of all perishables daily to ensure product quality.

Our Line Cooks are experts at a few things:
