Job description

At SSP America, our Line Cooks play a vital role in our team by receiving food orders, preparing delicious dishes for our guests, and properly setting up the kitchen to ensure every Expert has the products and tools they need during their shift. Our Line Cooks thrive working in the Back of House.

As a Line Cook at SSP, you can expect to:
  1. Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
  2. Maintain proper setup of the kitchen/station daily
  3. Requisition and stock all required food, paper products, and condiments
  4. Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
  5. Set up, maintain, clean, and breakdown machinery and equipment
  6. Maintain stock, cut, and store perishables daily to ensure product quality
  7. Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
  8. Ensure the quality of products served
  9. Perform cleaning tasks using standard products to meet health standards
  10. Perform other duties as assigned
