Job summary

Chula Seafood South Scottsdale is seeking hardworking AM & PM Line Cooks to join our fast-paced kitchen. You’ll prep, set up stations, and execute our chef-driven menu with consistency and care.

Experience in a high-volume kitchen is preferred, with strong knife skills and a team-first attitude. We offer hands-on training, seafood education, and growth within a family-owned Arizona company.

• 1+ year of line cook or similar kitchen experience preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume kitchen.
• Strong knife skills are a plus.
• Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work clean and efficiently during busy service.

Responsibilities

• Prep and execute Chula’s established menu with consistency and care.
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized station.
• Work efficiently alongside the culinary team during service.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Assist with prep, breakdown, cleaning, and closing responsibilities.
• Learn about seafood, fabrication, preparation, and the products we work with every day.
• Bring urgency, accountability, and positive energy to every shift.

About the Role

As a Line Cook at Chula Seafood, you’ll work alongside our culinary team to execute our chef-driven menu with consistency, quality, and attention to detail.

From prep and station setup to working the line during a busy service, you’ll be part of a kitchen that values great food, clean execution, teamwork, and respect for the product.

This is a hands-on position with more fresh seafood than you’ll know what to do with.

Chula Seafood is a family-owned, Arizona-grown seafood company founded in 2015 with a mission to bring responsibly sourced, high-quality seafood to the desert.

Our South Scottsdale restaurant opened in 2016 as the very first Chula Seafood location, and nearly a decade later, it remains an important part of who we are and where our story began.
