Ballers in Philadelphia is seeking a reliable Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare food to order, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to food safety standards while delivering high-quality meals.

The ideal candidate has cook experience, can follow recipes, work well with peers, and stay organized during busy shifts. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is expected in this lively, sports-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of kitchen or line cook experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen safety practices.
• Serve Safe certification or ability to obtain.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• You're an energetic team player who delivers guest experiences with Ballers hospitality.
• You thrive when things are moving fast and can juggle priorities.
• Knowing a bit about pickleball, padel, golf, soccer, or squash is a plus!

Responsabilités

• Preparing and cooking menu items to spec and on time.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your station.
• Following all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assisting with prep work and kitchen opening/closing duties.
• Communicating with teammates to ensure smooth service.
• Managing inventory and minimizing food waste.
• Supporting catering and special event food service as needed.

Role Overview

As a Line Cook, you’ll be responsible for preparing food to order, maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards, and contributing to a smooth kitchen operation.
