Job summary

Erickson Senior Living Brooksby Village in Peabody, MA is hiring line cooks to join a team that creates resident-focused dining experiences. This role offers cook-to-order preparation, engagement with Signature Dining Programs, and a schedule that supports work-life balance.

You'll work alongside culinary leadership to craft chef-inspired dishes, with opportunities to advance to lead cook, sous chef, or management roles; compensation ranges from $22 to $27 per hour plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cook-to-order experience.
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items using proper techniques, recipes, and food safety standards.
• Execute cook‑to‑order meals with consistent quality, portioning, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Work side‑by‑side with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and culinary leadership during service.
• Contribute to a dining experience that keeps residents coming back.

Location: Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living

In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our innovative Signature Dining Programs, engaging in à la minute cooking and crafting chef-inspired dishes.
