Job summary

Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to prepare and cook menu items using proper techniques, recipes, and food safety standards. You will execute cook‑to‑order meals with consistent quality, portioning, and presentation in a team‑oriented kitchen.

We offer new pay rates: $22.00–$27.00 per hour, PTO, and strong benefits, plus opportunities for growth into lead cook or sous chef roles within a supportive, resident‑focused dining program.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cook-to-order experience.
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures—from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items using proper techniques, recipes, and food safety standards.
• Execute cook‑to‑order meals with consistent quality, portioning, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Work side‑by‑side with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and culinary leadership during service.
• Contribute to a dining experience that keeps residents coming back.

In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our innovative Signature Dining Programs, engaging in à la minute cooking and crafting chef‑inspired dishes.
