What you get to do

1. Coordinate production of menu items for special events.
2. Adjust food quantities based on park guest attendance.
3. Represent the company positively, maintaining high energy and commitment to quality.
4. Assist in leading daily operations and special events in the absence of management.
5. Read menus to estimate food requirements and order supplies.
6. Oversee food delivery and coordination at event sites.
7. Adjust oven and equipment temperatures as needed.
8. Prepare food in accordance with recipes for special events.
9. Cook meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods using various methods.
10. Add seasonings during preparation or cooking.
11. Test foods for quality and doneness by tasting and smelling.
12. Portion and garnish food for serving.
13. Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest needs.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

What it takes to succeed

• At least two years of related experience or equivalent education and training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift/move up to 55 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in hot or cold environments.
• Use of hands and arms for handling and feeling objects, and ability to kneel or crawl.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Positive interaction with guests and coworkers of diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Successful completion of relevant food handler exams.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary certification preferred.
• Resume required.
• Availability for up to 29 hours/week, including weekends, holidays, and various shifts.
