Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Sauté & Grill Line Cook to join our upscale kitchen team. The role involves executing dishes from the sauté and grill stations with precision, consistency, and efficiency. Ideal candidates will have experience in high-end or fine-dining environments, strong cooking technique knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional cuisine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and execute dishes from the sauté and grill stations according to recipes and standards.
  • Cook proteins and vegetables to the correct doneness, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Manage multiple orders in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
  • Maintain proper temperatures and cooking times for safety and taste.
  • Season and plate dishes to enhance presentation.
  • Assist in prepping mise en place, including sauces, butters, and garnishes.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment like grills, sauté pans, and ovens.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or needs.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team for smooth operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience as a line cook, preferably in upscale or fine-dining restaurants.
  • Strong grilling and sauté techniques.
  • Excellent knife skills and handling of high-quality ingredients.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
