SSP America operates several restaurants throughout the Orlando International Airport in Orlando, FL. We are currently hiring for a Line Cook to work at our Urban Cave, Le Grand Comptoir, and other locations within the airport.

At SSP America, our Line Cooks play a vital role in receiving food orders, preparing delicious dishes, and setting up the kitchen efficiently so every team member has the products and tools needed during their shift. Our Line Cooks thrive in a fast-paced, back-of-house environment.

As a Line Cook at SSP, you can expect to:

  • Follow recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
  • Maintain proper setup of the kitchen/station daily
  • Requisition and stock all required food, paper products, and condiments
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
  • Set up, maintain, clean, and break down machinery and equipment
  • Maintain stock, and ensure quality of perishables daily
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists
  • Ensure the quality of products served
  • Perform cleaning tasks as assigned to meet health standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Skills & Other Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of experience in a food service environment
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Food handler's permit, as required by law
  • Brand Certification, as required
