Lighthouse Bar and Grill is seeking a reliable Line Cook in New Orleans to join our team. You will prepare items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and cook via grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods, while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.

Flexible schedule with weekend and day/night shifts, approximately 30–35 hours per week. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and work well under pressure in a fast-paced setup.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or resort.
• Experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced environment.
• Safe serve certified or able to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
• Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing.
• Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods.
• Must be able to expedite tickets in timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Cleans and sanitizes cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
• 1-3 years cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or resort.
• Safe serve certified or able to obtain.

• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and day and night shifts.

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate Range | $14 - $16 | Commensurate with Experience
