Job summary

Castaway Play Cafe LLC in Michigan is seeking a Line Cook to join our cafe team. This role involves working with high-quality ingredients to prepare not only pizza but a variety of menu items. We value candidates who are experienced, creative, and committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Night and weekend availability is required. You will set up the kitchen, craft plated dishes, manage inventory, and uphold strict food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• ServSafe or Food Handler’s Certification is preferred but not required.
• Advanced culinary techniques and recipes knowledge is preferred but not required.
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 20 pounds.
