As a Line Cook, you will:

• Report to the Sous Chef for instructions on specials and menu changes
• Supervise and direct line staff in the absence of the Sous Chef
• Prepare recipes according to standards and production sheets
• Cook menu items as ordered with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
• Assist in other kitchen areas as instructed
• Store perishable foods properly after service
• Clean station and follow closing instructions
• Lead daily departmental tasks

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word)
• Good reading, writing, and verbal skills in English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to analyze problems and draw conclusions
• Must obtain ServSafe certification
• Physically capable of pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25 lbs., and performing physical tasks in various work areas
