What You’ll Do
- Maintain quality standards by preparing recipes to specification
- Follow recipes, manage portion control, and adhere to presentation standards
- Set up station according to specifications
- Use KDS system to manage cook times while multitasking
- Restock items as needed
- Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen and storage areas
- Maintain kitchen equipment in excellent condition
- Clean and organize station following safety and sanitation standards
- Communicate professionally with Managers and Team Members
- Follow checklists and SOPs for opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need
- Align with Cooper’s Hawk Values
- At least 18 years old
- Minimum 6 months line cook experience in upscale casual dining or similar environment
- Team-oriented attitude
- Basic professional cooking and knife skills, including use of cut-glove
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Stand and walk up to 10 hours per shift
- Work conditions include wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise
- Perform essential functions with reasonable accommodation
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays
- Proficiency in English
