This range is provided by Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience. Talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Position: Line Cook (Kitchen Team Member)

Purpose: To prepare great tasting and visually appealing food, handle assigned prep work and station responsibilities, and maintain high standards for quality and presentation. Cross-training across kitchen roles is expected.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare menu items per recipes and standards (50%).
  • Complete prep work (15%).
  • Set up workstation (15%).
  • Practice safe food handling (10%).
  • Maintain cleanliness (5%).
  • Perform cleaning tasks (5%).
Qualifications:
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to handle kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Mobility and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies.
Physical Demands:

This role requires navigating the restaurant, lifting items up to 25 pounds, bending, and stooping. Vision must be sufficient to assess cleanliness and operate a touchscreen. Accommodations are available for disabilities.
