Job summary

Castaway Play Cafe in Howell, MI is seeking a Line Cook to join our cafe team. You’ll work with high-quality ingredients to prepare pizza and a variety of menu items, delivering an exceptional dining experience with creativity and consistency.

Must be available nights and weekends. You will set up the kitchen, prep and present dishes, maintain inventory, and follow food safety regulations while collaborating with the head chef and kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• ServSafe or Food Handler's Certification is preferred but not required.
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes is preferred but not required.
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities
